About the Project

The overall purpose of the project is to increase awareness and spread knowledge of the European integration process and its interactions with the Mediterranean Area, addressing the relationship between the European integration process and the Mediterranean Area, relating the profoundly historical dimension of this relationship and its importance in future scenarios. EU&ME aims at doing so by fostering both academic and popular understanding of the key role that the European Union plays in the Mediterranean area. The project involves the introduction of new teaching modules on the history of European integration and Euro-Mediterranean relations in the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Campus of Ravenna and discussion and debate on the topics in both the academic community and civil society, through research activities and events open to the public.

Project funded by European Commission Erasmus + Programme – Jean Monnet Action. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
